Designed in 1954 by Max Bill, Hans Gugelot and Paul Hildinger for the students of the Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm. The Ulmer Hocker is a landmark of modernist design. Its simple construction and versatile character reflect the school’s approach to functional, honest and timeless design.
