where structure meets softness
Working with steel and textiles, Maud creates sculptural objects, that cocoons the body and subtly engages the senses. Metal provides clarity and strength, while wool introduces warmth and tactility, forming a quiet dialogue between materials.
Characterized by clean lines and refined handmade traces, her work distills form to its essence - offering objects of comfort, presence, and calm, designed as a retreat from the outside world.

- Foam is from a company based in The Netherlands
- Please note: She treats the steel surface with wax and oil to prevent severe corrosion of the steel, which creates a patina. Moisture or liquids near the pieces are therefore not advisable. (Not suitable for outdoor use)

Maud Paul
Based in Brussels, Maud Paul is a designer and craftswoman whose practice moves between structure and softness. Born in France in 1998, she graduated in Art & Design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2021 before founding her studio in 2022.
